Tuition Services Overview

Tuition available for students from Year 3 to Year 11

Lessons offered online (via Zoom) or face-to-face

English Language & Literature
For both primary and secondary levels (Key Stages 1–4), including:

GCSE, IGCSE, SATs and 11+

Lesson Structure

All lessons are individually tailored to suit each student’s specific learning needs, with achievable targets set each week. Suggested homework is provided after each lesson, and regular assessments and feedback ensure steady progress.

Lessons are designed to build confidence as well as knowledge, using engaging resources and activities to make learning enjoyable. Parents are kept updated on progress, and additional support with exam preparation (SATs, 11+, GCSE) is also available. Both online and face-to-face lessons are offered for flexibility and convenience.

A free Zoom or face-to-face meeting is offered before tuition begins, giving students and parents the opportunity to meet the tutor, discuss goals, and ask any questions.

Exam Boards: AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and OCR

Assessment & Planning

A personalised scheme of work is created for each unit, ensuring consistent, measurable progress.

An initial assessment is conducted to identify each student’s strengths and areas for development.
